At the Womb Garden, we strive to nurture the nurturers. Birth and postpartum practitioners are the gatekeepers of a sacred threshold, holding space for one of life’s most profound transitions: the birth of a mother. To walk this path requires extraordinary courage, deep intuition, and the capacity to hold both the mystery and the medicine of birth. It is a humbling honor—one not for the faint of heart. It demands an ongoing expansion of one’s emotional and spiritual capacity, and a willingness to surrender to the grand orchestration, while remaining an anchor of wisdom for the birthing woman and her family.
Perhaps I carry a karmic memory of being impacted by someone like you. I know for certain that I was deeply blessed to be held by my beloved doula, the late Patti Edwards, during my pregnancy with my son on Oʻahu. Her calm presence and wisdom continue to inform the work of the Womb Garden, guiding me from the other side, a reminder of the soulful imprint a doula leaves behind.
The Womb garden honors the lineage of those who have been called to gate-keep this portal. We create a space where birthworkers are supported, sustained, and celebrated—because the work you do shapes not just births, but entire lives.
